What is Nimenrix?
Nimenrix is a meningococcal ACWY vaccine protecting against serogroups A, C, W-135 and Y. It is the vaccine required for Umrah and Hajj pilgrims and recommended for travellers at higher risk.
What it protects against
It protects against meningococcal meningitis and septicaemia, which can become serious very quickly.

Nimenrix - your questions answered
Is Nimenrix required for Umrah and Hajj?+
Yes. Saudi Arabia requires a valid meningococcal ACWY vaccination. We provide the jab and the certificate you'll need.
When should I get it before travel?+
At least 10 days before departure so protection develops and your certificate is valid.
